Combination brows
Combination brows mix fine hair strokes with a soft shade behind them, giving a defined, fuller brow that lasts longer than strokes alone. They cost £300 at Oh Hello Brows and suit oily skin and sparse brows well.

- Top-up at 6–12 weeks£50
What are combination brows?
Individual hair strokes are drawn through the front and body of the brow, with a soft powder shade built up behind them. The strokes keep the look natural; the shading adds depth and definition, and helps the result hold for longer.
Who are they for?
- Oily or combination skin, where hair strokes alone can blur as they heal.
- Sparse or patchy brows that need filling in as well as shape.
- Anyone who likes a little more definition than a purely natural brow.
Want the most natural finish possible and have normal to dry skin? Hairstroke brows may suit you better. Not sure? Read combination vs hairstroke vs microblading.
What to expect
Every appointment starts with a consultation, where we map the shape that suits your face and choose the colour together. Your brows will look bolder and darker for the first few days, then soften as they heal. Your true colour settles at around six weeks, when your top-up perfects the result.

Combination brow questions
How long do combination brows last?
Around 12–18 months, fading gradually. A colour top-up costs £200 at 12–18 months, or £250 at 18–24 months.
Are combination brows good for oily skin?
Yes. The soft shading holds better on oily skin than hair strokes alone, which is why combination brows are usually recommended over hairstrokes or microblading for oily skin.
Is the 6–12 week top-up needed?
Yes — it's an essential part of the treatment, when the colour and shape are perfected. It costs £50.
